IPTV Ireland Max on a Firestick

A Firestick asks for one thing the other devices do not: permission to install an app from outside Amazon's store. That is the only awkward step, and it takes about a minute.

Setup included. Message us and we do these steps with you, for nothing.

Get the Downloader app

  1. 1.On the Fire TV home screen, go to Find and then Search.
  2. 2.Type Downloader and choose it from the list that appears.
  3. 3.Pick the orange Downloader app and select Get or Download.

Switch on apps from unknown sources

Where this setting lives depends on how old the stick is, so there are two routes.

  1. 1.Newer sticks: Settings, My Fire TV, About. Select Fire TV Stick seven times until Developer Options appears, go back one screen and open it, then turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
  2. 2.Older sticks: Settings, My Fire TV, Developer Options, then turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
Good to know. If Developer Options is nowhere to be found, the seven presses on the About screen bring it back. Amazon tucked it away in an update.

Install a player and sign in

Open Downloader, type in the app address we sent you, and install it. Any of these three will do:

  • TiviMate

    Paid

The nicest guide and recording. Licence covers five devices.

  • IBO Player Pro

    Paid

Free for a week, then one payment.

  • IPTV Smarters

    Free

    Plain, free and it works.

Open the player, pick the Xtream Codes login, and type in the username, password and server address from your order. The channels load in a few seconds.

If the unknown-sources step puts you off, an Android box or Chromecast gets the same players from the Play Store with no sideloading, and a Samsung or LG TV needs no extra hardware at all. Whichever you choose, it is worth reading the full channel list first.
