IPTV Ireland Max on Roku

Roku is the tightest of the TV platforms, so there are only two ways in: one proper player from the Channel Store, or casting from a phone.

Add IBO Player Pro

  1. 1.Open the Roku Channel Store, search for IBO Player Pro, and add it.
  2. 2.Open it and go to the Account section. Note the MAC address and Device Key on the screen.
  3. 3.On a phone or laptop, go to iboproapp.com, open Manage Playlists, and sign in with that MAC address and Device Key.
  4. 4.Choose Add XC Playlist, give it a name, and type in the server, username and password from your order.
  5. 5.Back on the Roku, close and reopen the app, then choose the playlist you added.
Good to know. IBO Player Pro is free for seven days. After that there is a one-off fee, paid on iboproapp.com with the same MAC address and Device Key.

Or cast from a phone

  1. 1.Install Web Video Cast on an Android phone or an iPhone.
  2. 2.Open the menu, choose IPTV, and add your playlist address.
  3. 3.Tap the cast icon and choose the Roku. Both need to be on the same Wi-Fi.

Roku decides which apps may exist on it, so the choice is narrow by design. Samsung and LG TVs are a little more open, and a Firestick in the HDMI port gives you every player we recommend for less than the price of a takeaway. Check the full channel list before you set anything up.
